Ant-man and the Wasp of Quantumania: What went wrong?

We all know what Marvel Universe can do and it has given us some mind-tripping and thriller movies like Avengers The Endgame. Was all the hype created for it a no-show just talk? Is all the saturation of Characters in the Marvels universe the main reason they can't cope with the fantastic storyline they always promise? Don't worry we will discuss all that in this article so make sure to read it all out.

Brief Intro About Movie

“Quantumania” centers on Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, and Hope Van Dyne, aka the Wasp, after their family is sucked into the subatomic Quantum Realm. There, they face off against Kang, a dimension-hopping tyrant trying to escape from the realm after being exiled for his rampages across time and space.

It has nothing to offer beyond drab-looking action.

When we hear about MCU, We all want to see some constant action, things blowing up, and buildings falling, but the new Ant-man and the Wasp of Quantumania have failed to deliver us all the action that the fans expect.

Now imagine if that sequence were the whole movie, but with unsuspenseful, drab-looking action. There you have Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the latest and possibly lamest installment in the usually reliable Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The first installment Ant-Man (2015) was the heart of our littlest hero of the MCU, but now with this new over-hyped movie it just threw all that in the trash.

Minuscule superhero sets up Marvel's next big villain but other than that, it has nothing to offer beyond drab-looking action”

What Kristy Puchko has to say?

Kristy puchko is the Entertainment Editor at Mashable, she is one the renowned critics and has a very unique sense of critical analyzing.

“The Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown so massive and all-consuming that it’s not enough for an Ant-Man movie to be an Ant-Man movie,” says Kristy Puchko.

The fans have divine love for the Ant-Man series but what they have to bear with this time is a “chaotic, woefully unfunny mess that has forgotten why its hero was such fun.”

What Kate Erbland has to say?

Kate Erbland usually criticizes in a very subtle manner but this time it changed everything, it's like this has disturbed some within their roots.

“Towering over ‘Quantumania’ and its little ant friends with genuine pathos, pain, and fear, even if the most studied MCU scholars will likely be confused by what exactly his Kang the Conquerer wants and, uh, is,” she wrote.

“But cramming Majors’ Kang against Rudd’s Scott Lang [and family] ... as they zip and zag through a tiny, ‘Star Wars’-influenced world doesn’t just feel confusing; it can feel outright mean.”

The most disappointing fact or it might be just me that not only one character is messed up but all including the villain and Wasp are out of place. It's like the movie was meant to be doomed.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been met with disappointment from both critics and fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Despite the promising premise of the film, the action sequences have been described as drab-looking and unsuspenseful, with the film failing to deliver the constant action that fans have come to expect from the MCU. The overwhelming saturation of characters in the Marvel Universe may be contributing to the lackluster storyline that the movie promised. With the success of other promising MCU movies, this film will likely not be the end of the universe, but it may serve as a warning to future films to not let hype overshadow the quality of the movie itself.
